We suggest a private tour of 8h to discover the Asiago plateau in the Vicentine Prealps. The departure is scheduled from the area of Venice, but can be modified according to your needs and requests. The arrival to Asiago and its plateau is expected with private vehicle with driver and tour leader. It is also programmed a tasting of typical products of the area, such as the famous Asiago cheese, honey and mountain jams and much more.
The time and place of departure are not fixed, due we are available to develop customized solutions according to your needs. For this reason, please contact us or explain your requirements in the notes at the time of booking.
In just over an hour, starting for example from Venice, you will be immersed in the sweet hills of the Asiago plateau in the Prealps of Vicenza. We are talking about a territory at 1000 meters above sea level with peaks up to 2000 meters, ideal for those who want to spend some relaxing moments or practice outdoor sports. It is in fact the ideal place for fans of mountain bike and cross-country skiing, with over 500 km of trails that go to touch all the villages of the plateau.
According to your preferences it's possible, in agreement with the tour leader, to explore the places of the Great War, get lost among the stories of Mario Rigoni Stern, choose the best sports activities or relax enjoying the best local products.

Certainly can not miss a stop in the historic center of Asiago, defined by Gabriele d'Annunzio "the smallest and brightest city in Italy". It is in fact a mountain town characterized by alpine architecture and a strong bond with the surrounding nature. This can be noted for example by the use of the famous red marble of Asiago used for the construction of the Cathedral of St. Matthew, the municipal tower and the Fountain of the Faun in the gardens of the historic center. We also recommend a stop at the Military Shrine of Leiten dedicated to the victims of the Great War, a walk through the shops of the main street and a coffee-aperitif in the typical places of the center.
Free time for the lunch. Planned a tasting of typical products, from cheeses and cold cuts to jams of the area, in a typical local.
This tour includes the presence of a dedicated exclusive tour leader, this will allow you to be accompanied among the sites of greatest interest, know anecdotes about what you observe and have a reference person.
The stops and the duration of the stops during the route will be decided by yourself together with the driver/tour leader. It is your free decision to organise this day.

Cancellation at least 3 days in advance is fully refundable. In case of no-show at the meeting point at the time indicated on the voucher, cancellation after the deadline or abandonment of the service before its end there is no refund. In case of adverse meteorological conditions and/or force majeure, you are invited to contact us in order to verify the feasibility of the service and assess, in case of cancellation, the best solution. This may be a refund or the postponement of the service to the first date available. Where predictable well in advance you will also receive our notice of change/cancellation service.
