Half-day excursion to discover the secret beauties of the Brenta Riviera. An immersion trip through ancient villas and the famous footwear district of Stra known all over the world.
Departure by dedicated shuttle to the Riviera del Brenta is scheduled at 13.45. The starting point will be decided together (maximum indicative distance 40/45 km from Stra).
The first stage will be Villa Foscarini Rossi in Stra. Here you can admire the frescoed palace and the large reception hall. It includes our accompaniment to the entrance of the Villa and the Shoe Museum (included in the price).
After a short walk, you will arrive at Villa Pisani also known as "the National" (optional admission of € 10.00). It is one of the largest villas on the Riviera wanted by the Pisani family between 1720-1740 (ancient patrician Venetian family) in front of the Naviglio del Brenta. Its 114 rooms have hosted kings, doges and emperors, including Bonaparte, the Empress of Austria, the King of Naples Ferdinand II and the King of Greece Otto. Inside there is also a masterpiece by Giambattista Tiepolo: "Glory of the Pisani family", frescoed on the ceiling of the majestic Ballroom. Then get lost between the famous hedge maze, considered one of the most important in Europe, and its vast park.
At the end of the visit there will be the possibility to visit a typical footwear production unit of the Riviera with its outlet. The Brenta Riviera is in fact a production district famous throughout the world for the creation of the most important high fashion brands.
The end of the excursion is scheduled around 19.00. Meeting and return to the places of departure.

Shoes Museum: Monday to Friday: 9.00 am-1.00 pm, 2.00 pm-6.00 pm From April to October, on Saturdays from 2.30 pm to 6 pm, Sundays and public holidays from 11.00 am to 5.00 pm, 15 August and Sundays in August: closed Villa Pisani in Stra: Open every day from Tuesday to Sunday. closed on Mondays, except on public holidays. Opening hours from 1 April to 30 September 2019: 9.00am – 8.00 pm (exit 7.00-8.00 pm). The labyrinth can be visited (weather conditions permitting) with a limited route and during the opening hours of the villa. Information in the concierge or at the info-point.
